RE: Calgon water softener for the Geo method
Our SuperWalMart does not carry Calgon but two other grocery chains do here in south central Texas. But only the powder. We found the liquid on line at drugstore.com.
RE: Recommend Campground - 3 day weekend for Thanksgiving
We have spent Thanksgiving a few times at Cherry Hill CG in College Park, MD. You can take the bus to the metro from the cg and see all the Washington DC sites. You can drive our to Dulles and see the amazing newer Air and Space Museum which houses the Enola Gay and the space shuttle Enterprise. Many things to do there. Plus the cg has a great Thanksgiving dinner!!
RE: Where to go in Texas for winter months?
We spent last winter at By the River RV Park in Kerrville. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area.
RE: Refer. ?, fins iced up
When ours iced up we realized the temperature was set for too cold. When we turned it down, the fins defrosted but the food stayed plenty cold.
heat/AC turn on by themselves
We have had both our heater and our air conditioner turn on when the unit is off. First we thought it was the timer on the remote control but it has happened since we made sure the time was off. Any similar problems or suggestions? We are hundreds of miles from a dealership,of course.
